Corazon del mar, Nantucket
My experience working at "Corazon" (as we called it for short) was an eye opening one. The restaurant had so much life, and they shared their passion of food and drinks with everyone who walked through those doors. They made the guests feel as if they where all kings/queens. The food to say the least, amazed me. I had my eyes and ears open the whole time i was there. They have made a good ground structure for me to keep growing and learning different tastes as i continue in this adventure which is the culinary industry. For me restaurants have to have a "WOW" in them for someone to realize that it is a special place and surpasses all others around you. Corazon not only had a WOW factor everywhere i looked but they kept finding new ways of being better. They looked at themselves and improved day by day. As a cook, this drive makes you want to continue, look at yourself, and makes YOU improve. I can proudly say i was part of the team, i worked at Corazon del Mar, Nantucket. Forever will that place be embedded in my thoughts.
